This weekend is Portland’s Holiday Ale Festival. As usual, its a good idea to pace yourself.
I’m hoping to go Friday evening, maybe even Saturday as well.

Michelle and I went briefly last night, but it was so busy as to be uncomfortable. Plus, the 30 minute wait for a beer, and the difficulty getting away from the line without spilling made for a trip to Bridgeport. Mmmmm… Cask IPA and the best Caesar Salad in town.
Went back briefly on Sunday, and all that was left were some really peaty beers. This isn’t a bad thing, but liquid smoke after liquid smoke without any breaks (or water) is a tough recipe to swallow.
